We built MyCareerMate to help international students and early-career professionals find their footing in Australia. While we are pre-launch, the waitlist is the main way we collect information. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Contact details such as your name and email address so we can send you updates and the resources you signed up for.

Optional details about your job search, like industry focus, career stage, and the challenges you are facing. These insights help us prioritise features and create relevant content.

To send you waitlist confirmations, launch news, and useful resources tailored to the answers you share.

To understand what problems matter most so we can build the right product. We look at aggregated trends rather than individual responses whenever possible.

To invite selected users to beta programs or research calls where we need deeper feedback.

We process your information because you give us consent when you join the waitlist. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us directly.

We use reputable providers to store your information securely. We keep your waitlist data for as long as we run the waitlist or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers (for example, email delivery platforms or analytics tools) strictly so they can help us operate the waitlist. Those partners must keep your information confidential and secure.

You can unsubscribe from emails whenever you like. You can also request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing info@mycareermate.com. We will respond as quickly as we can.

MyCareerMate is designed for adults who are job hunting. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, please let us know and we will remove their details.

We may update this notice as we get closer to launch or add new features. When we make material changes we will email the waitlist or post a notice on the site with the updated date.
